Two years ago, when we moved into our home, I started researching ways to live clean and reduce our footprint. It is important to me and my husband that we foster a clean environment for our health as well as for the health of our cats. Here are some personal and home products that I use and love:
MakeUp Eraser

Another part of living clean is being conscious of the products that we use on our body. Living clean doesn’t mean you have to switch all of your products at once. As you finish one product, do research and start using a cleaner alternative. For me, I started with deodorant. I saw ads for Native and then I did my own research. Just because a company claims to be clean does not mean it is truly in fact a clean product. In fact, I downloaded the Think Dirty app on my phone and found many brands at Target are actually full of harmful ingredients. Think Dirty has analyzed over 2 million different products and rates them on a scale from 0 (green/clean) to 10 (red/dirty). I found that Native products are a 0!! I introduced my Mom to the brand and she loves their shampoo and conditioner.

Just like there can be many harmful chemicals in cosmetics and personal hygiene products, many candles can be endocrine disruptors, too. I used to love to light candles around my apartment.
