Colorado has always been a bucket list trip for us. We love the mountains and we love a thrilling adventure. Colorado definitely delivered. On one of our hikes, we met a big family from Indiana. After we reached the summit, one of the guys joked that the news report would say: 15 strangers stranded in the Rocky Mountains. Yep, we were 2 out of the 15 strangers. & we could not figure out how to get down once we made it to the top. A vague sign, no tree markings, slick rocks, rain, and a quick drop in temperature. We DID think that we lived in the Rocky Mountains for the foreseeable future. More on that thrilling adventure later.
Our first stop on the Colorado adventure was Denver. Welcome to The Rally!

Coors brewery was founded 152 years ago in Golden, Colorado. Hence why the baseball field is named Coors Field. Our hotel overlooked Coors Field and they offered us either a glass of Sauvignon Blanc or a glass of Coors beer at check-in. I LOVE details like this!! & I love baseball. Fresh air, a good hotdog, and tight baseball pants tucked into the socks.
Fun Fact: my uncle was a talented baseball player at Penn State and he had interest from the Reds after college. The love for the sport runs in the family.

Now, back to the hotel tour.

A few hours after check-in, they delivered a bottle of wine to our room to celebrate our anniversary. SO sweet and thoughtful!
Overall, this hotel was amazing! The customer service was top notch and it was in the perfect location.
Peace & Love,
Molly
