Day five:
Another day filled with adventure! It started with Scooters (of course) and then to Seven Falls. We parked at 1045 Lower Gold Camp Rd. in Colorado Springs and then took the shuttle to enter The Broadmoor Hotel.
We love waterfalls! This hike reminded us of a hike we took on our honeymoon in Big Sur, California.
We saw the main waterfall and then went on a few trails deeper in the park. It’s nice to take the trails less traveled and escape civilization. We love to get lost in nature. Then, we hiked back down, got back on the shuttle, to the rental car, and headed to Pike’s Peak. Minor detail: we thought the key fob to the rental car was dead. Nope! We were trying to get into the wrong car. LOL It’s always an adventure.
Now, it was time to head back to the hotel and get ready for dinner and drinks.
We LOVE speakeasies and especially when they are in hidden alleys.
I made this bag charm at the first hotel we stayed at in Denver.
After the speakeasy, we got on the Lime scooters to explore more of the street art.
